How do I buy iShares?

ETFs can be bought and sold during local market hours through your broker or execution only platform. Note they cannot be bought directly from iShares.

ETFs have the same trading flexibility as stocks, so you can use all the trading strategies you already associate with stocks such as market orders, limit orders, stop orders, short sales and buying on margin. iShares can be purchased as part of your ISA or SIPP allowance in the UK.

Europe-wide listings

In Europe, a large number of our funds are listed on the following exchanges:

• Chi-X
• Euronext Amsterdam
• Euronext Paris
• Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Xetra)
• London Stock Exchange
• SIX Swiss Exchange

Funds listed on multiple exchanges are completely fungible, which means they can be bought on one exchange and sold on another.
